L.van Beethoven

Sonata in D major for piano four hands op.6

This beautiful and lighthearted piece was written between 1796 and 1797. It appears in 2 movements: Allegro motto and Rondo.Moderato. It is generally considered a teaching piece given its relatively modest technical challenges as well as lack of documentation for any public performance.

Here, we are performing it at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Abu Dhabi in honor of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan community programs on the 30th of January 2020.

L.van Beethoven

Three Marches for piano four hands op.45

The publication date of these pieces in 1804 tough there is some doubt. The writing here for both players fully exploits the range of the keyboard and makes considerable technical demands and are quite pianistically challenging for the pianists.

Here we are performing it at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Abu Dhabi in honor of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan community programs on the 30th of January 2020.

I.Stravinsky

Sacre du Printemps for four hands (The Rite of Spring)

"I was guided by no system whatever in Le Sacre du Pritemps. I had only my ear to help me; I heard and I wrote what I heard. I am the vessel through which Le Sacre passed." wrote I.Stravinsky in 1961.

Here, we are performing it at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Abu Dhabi as part of the Chamber Music Society Concerts organized by Maestro Rony Rogoff on the 8th of February 2020.
